Mason County track athletes keep getting faster

With so many indoor track and field meets in a row, Mason County Coach Mark Kachler gave his athletes the choice of taking Saturday off or participating in a limited number of events. Julia Woods is the latest athlete to set the school record in the 1600 meter run with a time of 6:03 breaking the mark of 6:10 set by Valerie Rice and tied by Sara Bellingham last week. Jim Meyers and Westin Stahl lowered school records they had set earlier in the month- Meyers in the 1600 meter run (4:58.69) and Stahl in the 800 meter run (2:15.23).
