Lady Royals rally comes up short in 59-52 loss to Campbell County

After trailing by 11 in the third quarter, the Mason County Lady Royals rallied to get to within two points in the fourth quarter. But Campbell County was able to pull out a 59-52 victory tonight in the Mountain Dew Lady Royal Shootout at The Fieldhouse. Beth Queen scored a career-high 18 points for the Lady Royals. Keller Menke added 12 points. Four Lady Camels scored in double figures. Junior center Brianna Peters led the way with 16 points. Ripley defeated Lewis County 62-56 in the opening game. The shootout continues Saturday night. It's Ripley against Campbell County at 6:30 followed by Mason County against Lewis County.
