Jeremy Thompson rushed for 245 yards and tied a school record with six touchdowns to lead the Mason County Royals to a 68-12 win over the Magoffin County Hornets tonight in the first round of the Class 3A playoffs. Thompson rushed for more than 200 yards and five touchdowns in the first half. He now owns the school record for rushing touchdowns in a season with 30.
Mason County (9-2) will host Sheldon Clark in the second round next week. Here is the scoring summary:
