Eric Schumacher won the Mason County Open for the second straight year and the fifth time overall. Schumacher shot a 2-under par 70 Sunday at the Maysville Country Club and had a three-day total of 12-under 202. Robert Walton, who began the final round with a one-shot lead, shot a 76 Sunday and finished second, five-shots back. Steve Grayson was third (208) and Troy Grooms was fourth (211). Phillip Grayson shot a 70 Sunday and won medalist honors in a scorecard playoff. The Maysville Country Club won the Inter-City Trophy with 28 points. Laurel Oaks Golf Club was second with 20 points and Kenton Station Golf Course was third with 10 points. Here are the total scores in the championship flight and the winners of the other flights:
