Lady Royals Go 1-3 in Bulldog Bash

The Mason County Lady Royals went 1-3 in the Bulldog Bash hosted by Covington Holmes Friday and Saturday. Mason County lost to Conner 3-1 Friday night. The Lady Royals beat Highlands 5-2 early Saturday morning. Freshman Alexis Anderson hit a two-out, two-run double in the fourth inning. Anderson was 4-for-10 in the tournament. Mason County lost to Newport Central Catholic 13-1 and to Boyd County 9-3 Saturday. Mason County senior Lacey Cline was named to the All-Tournament Team. Cline was 5-for-10 in the tournament and drove in all three runs in the loss to Boyd County. The Lady Royals play at West Carter Tuesday.
