Lofton Scores 28 in Senior Day Win Over Gamecocks

Chris Lofton scored 28 points to lead the Tennessee Volunteers to an 89-56 Senior Day win over the South Carolina Gamecocks today. Lofton, playing his final game in Thompson-Boling Arena, was 10-of-16 from the field, including 6-of-10 from three-point range. He was 2-of-3 on foul shots. Lofton moved past Dale Ellis into fifth place on the Volunteers' all-time scoring list with 2,067 career points. Lofton also moved into sole possession of third place on the NCAA three-pointers made list with 419.
