
The Mason County Royals closed out play in the Iolani Prep Classic with a 55-41 win over Iolani, the No.2 team in Hawaii There were four lead changes and six ties. Mason County outscored Iolani 21-11 in the fourth quarter. Darius Miller led the Royals with 22 points and moved past Wesley Jones into fifth place on Mason County's all-time scoring list. Mason County will fly home on Christmas Eve. The Royals' next game is Thursday at 7:30 p.m. in the Lexington Catholic Holiday Classic against the winner of the Louisville Central vs. Lexington Christian Academy.

ReplyDeleteUnless there was major seating behind the photographer, it looks like this tournament was conducted in a facility similar to that of ours at Brossart.
Games of this magnitude would probably sell out the Fieldhouse.
I guess that there is only so much interest in basketball on the islands.
