Lady Royals Blank Grant County District 1st Round

The Mason County Lady Royals shutout the Grant County Lady Braves 6-0 last night in the first round of the 23rd District girls' soccer tournament at Grant County. Holly Moulis and Carolyn Morris each scored a goal in the first half, and Jessica Batey scored four goals in the second half. Caitlin Cox had two assists. Rebecca Batey, Ashley DeAtley and Carolyn Morris each had one assist. The Lady Royals play Pendleton County in the semi-finals Thursday at 8 p.m.
