Darius Miller Verbally Commits to UK

Mason County Senior Darius Miller verbally committed to play basketball at the University of Kentucky. Mason County Coach Chris O'Hearn says Miller called UK Coach Billy Gillispie this morning to verbally commit. Miller, 6-foot-6 swingman, is one of the top seniors in the nation. He was recruited by several major schools including Louisville, Tennessee, Illinois Florida and Texas. Miller averaged 19 points a game last season for the Royals. Gillispie made Miller one of his top recruiting targets as soon as he got the Kentucky job. Gillispie came to Maysville to watch Miller play in a pickup game one week after he was introduced as the Wildcats' coach.
