Royals in Courier-Journal Top 10, Scrimmage Ashland Tonight

The Mason County Royals are ranked 8th in the Courier-Journal's Class 3-A pre-season rankings. The Royals host the Ashland Tomcats in a scrimmage tonight at 7:30. Mason County and Ashland were district rivals the past four seasons. Under the re-alignment, Ashland moved up to Class 5-A. Tonight's scrimmage will be played like a game. A tailgate party will be held from 5:30 to 6:45 p.m. The menu will include country ham and chicken salad sandwiches. While supplies last, tailgaters will receive a royal blue “Find A Way To Win” wristband.
