The Fifth-Third/KHSAA State Tennis Championships begin Thursday. Chris Morris and Braun Applegate of Mason County are in the boys' doubles tournament. Morris and Applegate, the region champions, play Erick Kline and Matt Germond of North Oldham Thursday at 2:15 pm at Madison Southern High School. If Morris and Applegate win that match, they'll play their second round match Thursday at 6 pm at Berea College.
