Milner Throws No-Hitter as Bracken County Wins District Softball Tournament

Bracken County senior Kayla Milner threw a no-hitter and struck out 12 batters to lead the Bracken County Lady Bears' to a 3-0 win over the Mason County Lady Royals in the championship game of the 39th District Fast-Pitch Softball Tournament tonight at the Maysville-Mason County Recreation Park. Mason County defeated St. Patrick 8-5 in the semi-final game earlier today. Bracken County and Mason County both advance to the regional tournament. Milner was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament. She is joined on the All-Tournament Team by Katelyn Meyer, Cassi Sharp and Jessica Jefferson of Bracken County,
Carly Case, Kacey Carver and Lacey Cline of Mason County, and Beth Nolder and Katie Crawford of St. Patrick.
