The Mason County Lady Royals lost a heartbreaker to the Montgomery County Lady Indians
66-63 in the 10th Region championship game tonight at Montgomery County. The Lady Royals rallied from a seven point fourth quarter deficit to take a couple of one point leads late in the game, but the Lady Indians pulled out the victory for their third consecutive regional title. Montgomery County junior Maggie Prewitt had a game-high 23 points. Mackenzie Lee added 12 for the Lady Indians. Lacey Cline led the Lady Royals with 21 points. De'Sarae Chambers scored 19 points.
