Mason County 74, Harrison County 32

The Mason County Royals outscored the Harrison County Thorobreds 47-11 in the second half and won 74-32 tonight in the semifinals of the Pepsi Mason County Invitational Tournament. After leading by just six points at halftime, Mason County scored the first 15 points of the third quarter and outscored Harrison County 22-7 in the third quarter and 25-4 in the fourth quarter. Harrison County shot 12% from the field (3 of 25) in the second half. Five Royals scored in double figures led by Darius Miller with 19 points Brad Pawsat scored a career-high 10 points on five of five shooting.
Mason County will be play Bishop Brossart in the championship game Saturday night at
7:30. The Mustangs jumped out a 12-0 lead and beat Campbell County 58-42 in the other semifinals. Here are some statistics and the scoring summary for the Mason County-Harrison County game:
