Mason County 56, Bishop Brossart 33

The Mason County Royals held the Bishop Brossart Mustangs to one field goal in the first half on their way to a 56-33 win in the championship game of the Pepsi Mason County Invitational Tournament tonight at The Fieldhouse. The Royals led 6-4 after the first quarter and outscored the Mustangs 21-5 in the second quarter. Jimmy Uebel made Brossart's first field goal with 3:22 left in the first half. The Mustangs were one of 19 from the field in the first half. Darius Miller picked up two fouls in the first quarter. He finished with a double-double, 10 points and 10 rebounds. Tyreese Scott scored nine of his game-high 14 points in the second quarter.
