Chambers Scores 2,000th Point

Mason County junior De'sarae Chambers scored her 2,000th career point in the Lady Royals'75-53 win over Boyle County in the Applebee's Winter Classic at Boyle County on Dec. 30. Chambers, who became the Lady Royals' all-time leading scorer last month, now has 2,041 career points. She joins Shawn Myrick (2,049), Ronnie Lyons (2,621) and Chris Lofton (2,763) as the only members of the 2,000 point at Mason County.
