C-Lo In Person

I finally got to see Chris Lofton play a college game in person. Two of my daughters and I went to the Tennessee at Ohio State game today. Lofton scored 21 points in the Volunteers' 68-66 loss to the Buckeyes. Here on some thoughts on the trip and the game:

- Value City Arena is a beautiful facility;
- Ohio State runs a shuttle bus to and from the public parking lot which really makes it convenient;
- Several people from Maysville attended the game and Tennessee fans were scattered throughout the crowd;
- Ohio State freshman center Greg Oden is a man-child. UT had no answer for him. It did look like to me that Oden got tired toward the end of the game;
- When Chris came out for early warm-ups he really worked on dribbling drills. It was amazing to watch him do the two ball drills. He continues to work on his game;
- Lofton ended up with a team-high 21 points and fueled the Vols' comeback from a 10 point deficit, but it still seems to me that Tennessee goes long stretches without getting the ball to him;
- We got to talk to Lofton after the game. He was great with everybody even though I know he was very disappointed by the loss.
