Regional Golf Tournaments Will Be Played This Week

The regional golf tournaments are scheduled this week. The girls region nine tournament will be held Monday at the Mt. Sterling Country Club while the boys region nine tourney takes place Tuesday at Laurel Oaks Golf Club. The winning and runner-up teams in the regional tournaments qualify for the state tournament. Also qualifying for the girls state tournament are the five players with the lowest scores who are not on a qualifying team. In the boys regional, the three players with the lowest scores who are not on a qualifying team also advance to the state tournament.
