Here are a few news and notes concerning local sports:
- Mason County softball players Kenzie Gulley and Olivia Hughes were named to the All-Tournament Team following the Lady Royals' loss to Montgomery County in the semifinals of the 10th Region Tournament.
- The Commonwealth Cup, a 2-man scramble, will be played Saturday and Sunday at Laurel Oaks Golf Course. In each round holes 1-6 are best ball, holes 7-12 are scramble play, and holes 13-18 are alternate shot. A par 3 contest is scheduled on Friday at 6 p.m.
- You can listen to the Mason County vs. George Rogers Clark game in the semifinals of the 10th Region baseball tournament today at 5:30 p.m. on WCYN radio in Cynthiana.
