More Mason County athletes qualify for state track and field meet

Several Mason County athletes are at-large qualifiers for the Class 2A stare track and field meet now that all of the region meets have been completed. The list includes:
  • Haven Hamilton, girls' 100 meter hurdles
  • Madison Howard, girls' 100 meter dash
  • Kenzie Gulley, girls' 100 meter dash
  • CJ Arthur, boys' 100 meter dash
  • Peyton Ullery, boys' 800 meter run and boys' 1600 meter run
  • Bryant Curtis, boys' 1600 meter run
  • Ava Thompson, girls' 400 meter dash
  • Brooklyn Young, girls' 800 meter run
  • Kenzie Gulley, girls' long jump
  • Elijah Reed, boys' pole vault
  • The girls' 4x100 meter relay team of Kenzie Gulley, Adrienne Downs-Perry, Amirah Reed and Madison Howard.
Several of those athletes qualified for the state meet in other events by finishing first or second at the region meet.

The Clark’s Pump-n-Shop Class 2A State Track & Field Championships will take place May 31 the University of Kentucky.
