Mason Co. girls, Simon Kenton boys win Royal Rumble

The Mason County Lady Royals and the Simon Kenton Pioneers won the Mason County Royal Rumble track and field invitational today.

First place finishes by Mason County athletes include:

  • Te'a King in the girls 100 meter dash (13.05) and the girls 200 meter dash (28.32).
  • Rheagan Sizemore in the girls 400 meter dash and the girls pole vault (8-06.00).
  • Jordan Frodge in the girls 300 meter hurdles (51.46).
  • The girls 4x100 meter relay team of Marissa Scilley, Abbey Payne, Leeanna Holler and Te'a King (54.17).
  • The girls 4x200 meter relay team of Abigail Dawson, Abbey Payne, Leeanna Holler and Te'a King (1:55.19).
  • The girls 4x400 meter relay team of Rheagan Sizemore, Hadley Faris, Jordan Frodge and Olivia O'Hearn (4:30.39).
Bracken County senior Jacob Hamilton won the boys 1600 meter run (4:44.87).

Bracken County sophomore Jared Jefferson won the boys 3200 meter run (10:29.42).

Bracken County senior Nick Parker won the boys long jump (19-09.25).

Fleming County senior Daniel Kissell won the boys 110 meter hurdles (20.37).

Fleming County freshman Kaleb Flannery won the boys high jump (5-08.00).
