The regional golf tournaments are this week. The girls' Region 8 tournament will be played Monday at A.J. Jolly Golf Course in the Campbell County. The Pendleton County Country Club will host the boys' Region 8 Tournament on Tuesday. The winning and runner-up teams from each girls' region and the top four individuals not on the winning or runner-up team advance to the Leachman Buick & GMC/KHSAA Girls' State Golf Tournament October 4-6 at Bowling Green Country Club. The winning and runner-up teams from each boys' region and the top three individuals not on the winning and runner-up team qualify for the Leachman Buick & GMC/KHSAA Boys' State Golf Tournament October 7-9 at Bowling Green Country Club.
