The Mason County Royals rallied from a nine-point second quarter deficit to beat the Butler Bears 58-47 tonight in the quarterfinal round of the PNC/KHSAA Boys Sweet 16 at Rupp Arena. After hitting just 28% from the field in the first half, the Royals went to their run and jump press in the second half and started getting points off their defense. Tyler Black came in off the bench and tied his career high witth 18 points. Jordan Gilbert and Neal Pawsat scored 10 points apiece. Mason County will play Shelby Valley in the semifinals Saturday at 11:30 a.m.
