Mason County sweeps Area 7 Middle School Championships

The Mason County Middle School girls' and boys' track and field teams swept the Area 7 Middle School Championships Friday night at Lawrence County. The girls won by 25.5 points, and the boys won by 31 points. Here is a list of the first place finishers for Mason County:

• The girls' 4x800 meter relay team of Sarah Bellingham, Raylee Kirkland, Sierra Anderson and Cara Woods;
• Tee King, boys' 100 meter dash (12.49);
• Raylee Kirkland, girls' 1600 meter run (6:05.37), girls' 2400 meter run (9:36.18) and girls' pole vault (6-00.00);
• Nick Robinson, boys' 1600 meter run (5:30.72);
• The boys' 400 meter relay team of Weston Crosby, Tee King, Juan Davis and Marcell Jackson (51.93 )
• Brittany Hardin, girls' 300 meter hurdles (58.83);
• Corey Childers, boys' 300 meter hurdles (51.06);
• Sarah Bellingham, girls' 800 meter run (2:49.93);
• Sierra McDaniel, girls' 200 meter dash (28.53);
• Nick Robinson, boys' 2400 meter run (8:46.52);
