Scott beats Deming 70-49 in 10th Region opener

The Scott Eagles turned up its pressure defensive in the second half and beat the Deming Black Devils 70-49 in the opening game of the 10th Region Tournament this morning at The Bank of Kentucky Center. It was a six point game at the half, but Scott outscored Deming 24-15 in the third quarter. The bench scoring was 29-0 in favor of Scott. E.J. Murray led the Eagles in scoring with 18 points. Keylo Jones came off the bench to toss in 15 points and Kellen Smith added 13 points. Luke King led Deming with 12 points. Scott advances to the semifinals to play the winner of the Clark County-St. Patrick game.
