Doors are open at The Bank of Kentucky Center for region

The doors are open at The Bank of Kentucky Center and we're less than an hour away from tip-off of the opening game of the boys' 10th Region Tournament. I'll be blogging throughout the day. I'm calling the first game (Scott vs. Deming). Jason Butler has the second game (Clark County vs. St. Patrick at noon). Jonathan Fraysure has game three (Harrison County vs. Montgomery County at 2 pm). I'll be back on the air for the Mason County-Bishop Brossart game at 4 p.m.

• Scott is on the flooring stretching. The Eagles have Mohawk haircuts;
• Scott Coach Brad Carr was a little nervous when I told him the Eagles were my pre-season pick to win the region;
• At least four Mason County fans are already here;
• Bo Queen, Larry Lewis and Jeff Singleton are the officials for the first game. Queen called Pikeville College's game last night at Frankfort;
