Saints vs. Polar Bears tonight in All "A" 10th Region Tourney

The St. Patrick Saints play the Bracken County Polar Bears tonight at 8 o'clock in the quarterfinal round of the boys' All "A" 10th Region Tournament at Nicholas County.
It will be the fourth time St. Patrick has played Bracken County this season.
  • St. Patrick outscored Bracken County 95-93 at Bracken County on Dec. 4;
  • The Polar Bears edged the Saints 86-83 in the Covered Bridge Classic at Fleming County on Dec. 20 for their first win of the season;
  • The Saints beat the Polar Bears 81-72 in the First National Bank Holiday Tournament at Bracken County on Dec. 27;

St. Patrick is 6-10. The Saints have not played since Jan. 13 when they snapped a four-game losing streak with a 72-62 victory over Calvary Christian. Bracken County is 5-13. The Polar Bears have won two straight games and three of their last four. Calvary Christian and Nicholas County play in the first game tonight at 6:30. The winners of tonight's games will meet in the lower bracket semifinal game Friday at 8 p.m. Bishop Brossart and Deming posted wins last night and will meet in the upper bracket semifinal game Friday at 6:30 p.m. The championship game is Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
