The Mason County Royals defeated the Harrison County Thorobreds 63-55 in the semifinals of the Pepsi Mason County Invitational Tournament tonight. Russ Middleton scored a game-high 21 points. Neal Pawsat had his second straight double-double, 11 points and 12 rebounds. Phil Barner also scored 11 points. Mason County will play Campbell County in the championship game Sunday at 2 p.m. The Camels edged the Bishop Brossart Mustangs 40-37 in the other semifinal.
