Mr. Basketball Darius Miller scored 23 points (on 11 of 14 shooting) to lead the Kentucky All-Stars to a 123-95 win over the Junior All-Stars tonight at The Fieldhouse. Victor Moses of Henry Clay scored 20 points (on 10 of 11 from the field), Landon Slone of Paintsville, who is walking on at Kentucky, scored 18 points. Shelvin Mack of Bryan Station tossed in 16 points and Taylor Stewart of Lexington Catholic added 10 points. Tennessee signee Scotty Hopson did not make the trip to Maysville. Kentucky All-Stars Coach Tim Davis said Hopson was taking classes at Tennessee. Davis said Hopson will play against the Indiana All-Stars this weekend.
Jacob Jenkins of Dupont Manual led the juniors with 25 points. Richie Phares of Scott County scored 18 and Jon Hood of Madisonville-North Hopkins, who has verbally committed to Kentucky, added 16 points.
