Mason County shortstop Corey Woods has been selected to play in the East-West Junior All-Star Baseball Games on Sunday, June 22 at Patterson Stadium at the University of Louisville.
The players will workout in front of college coaches at 9 a.m. The games are scheduled at 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. Woods played all 32 games for Mason County this past season. He batted .424 with one home run, seven doubles and 21 RBI. He was 14 of 14 on stolen base attempts and scored 26 runs. Woods had a .492 on-base percentage and a .519 slugging percentage.
