Mason County Students Sweep Farmers Fitness 5K

Both the male and female winners of the Farmers Fitness 5K at the May's Lick Asparagus Festival Saturday are members of the track and cross country teams at Mason County High School. Sophomore Jim Meyers was the male winner (16:54) and seventh grader Sara Bellingham was the female winner (20:26). Myers and Bellingham both medalled in three events Friday night in the Area 7 Championships before running for fun Saturday morning.
