For the first time since 2002, the Mason County Royals play the Russell Red Devils in a district football game tonight. This is the game players and fans have been looking forward to all season.
The winner of tonight's game gets the number one seed in the district and home field advantage in the first three rounds of the playoffs. If there are no upsets in the first round of the playoffs, Mason County and Russell will meet in the second round for the district title.
Tailgate Party
Tonight's tailgate party is sponsored by Citizens Deposit Bank. The menu includes pork tenderloin, green been cassserole, dessert and drink. The cost is $5. The tailgate party is from 5:30 to 6:45.
Alumni to Form Tunnel
Former Mason County and Maysville players and coaches are urged to go out on the field and form a tunnel for the Royals to run through as they take the field. The tunnel will begin in the endzone. The cheerleaders will be at the other end of the tunnel with a banner for the players to brust through.
