Welte Brings His Villa Madonna Team to Town Today

Former St. Patrick baseball standout Noah Welte brings his Villa Madonna baseball team to Maysville today to play the Mason County Royals. Welte is in his first season as head coach of the Blue Lightning. Welte, a four year starter at Thomas More College, was co-head coach at Villa Madonna last season. The Blue Lightning qualified for the regional tournament for the first time in school history last year. Villa Madonna is 7-13 this season. Today's game begins at 5:30.
