Allison Poe of Maysville won the Buffalo Trails women's triathlon this morning in a time of
1:38:23. She is the first local winner of the duathlon or triathlon in the seven year history of the races.

Barry Knight of Paducah won the men's triathlon for the third consecutive year. His time was 1:26:17.
Poe and Knight qualified for the Best of the U.S. Amatuer Triathlete Competition in Florida.
Michelle Kitze of Kettering, Ohio is the women's champion of the duathlon for the fifth time. Her time was 1:44:28.
Robert Smith of Huntington, West Virginia won the men's duathon in a time of 1:32:05.
Nathan Hauke of Winchester, Ohio was the men's winner of the 5K in time of 16:34. Susan Colby of Maysville was the women's winner in the 5K in a time of 24:59.
