Boys 10th Region Semifinal Matchups

Arguably the four best teams in the Boys 10th Region have reached the regional semifinals which will be played today at The Fieldhouse. It's Bishop Brossart (28-4) against the Mason County Royals (27-2) at 12 p.m., and the Scott Eagles(22-10) vs. the Clark County Cardinals(23-7) at 3:30 p.m. Bishop Brossart won the Touchstone Energy All "A" Classic last month. Mason County, the defending champion of the 10th Region, is ranked in the top five in the state. The Royals defeated the Mustangs twice during the regular season-56-33 Jan. 6 in the championship game of the Pepsi Mason County Invitational Tournament and 61-49 Feb. 21 at The Fieldhouse. Scott and Clark County did not play each other in the regular season. The Cardinals edged the Eagles 70-68 on a last second putback by Preston Knowles in the first round of last year's regional tournament.
