Scaggs and Rice Academic All-State

Two Mason County cross country runners-- senior Travis Scaggs and 7th grader Valerie Rice-- have been named to the Academic All-State Team. The criteria for the first team is a 3.75 grade point average or higher for academics, either be ranked in the top 20 during the year (Scaggs) or finish in the top 25 at the state meet (Rice) for the athletic side.
