For the second time this season and the fifth time in his career, Tennessee guard Chris Lofton has been named Southeastern Conference Player of the Week. Lofton scored a career-high 34 points in the Volunteers' win over Memphis last week.
According to UTsports.com Lofton and Dyron Nix are the only two Tennesseee players to receive the award five times.
