Runnings Royals have a big day at Boyd County

The Mason County cross country teams won three trophies at the Boyd County Invitational Saturday.The girls varsity team finished third. Valerie Rice led the Lady Royals with a 15th place finish. The boys varsity was fourth. Travis Scaggs led the way with a 7th place finish. The Mason County Middle School boys and girls teams both took first place in their respective races. Andy Ward was third in the boys race, and Julia Woods was second and Raylee Kirkland was third in the girls race. The Royals will compete in the Area 7 Championships in Russell this Saturday.
