The Mason County Lady Royals edged the Walton-Verona Lady Bearcats 1-0 tonight in a semifinal game in the girls 23rd District soccer tournament at Mason County.
The lone goal was scored by Caitlin Cox Wednesday night before the game was suspended by bad weather. The game was completed tonight. The Lady Royals play the St. Patrick Lady Saints in the championship game Friday night at 6 o'clock. The Pendleton County Wildcats shutout the Mason County Royals 4-0 in the boys district semifinal. Pendleton County plays St. Patrick in the boys championship game tomorrow night at 8 o'clock.
