The Johnson Central Golden Eagles completed a 10-0 regular season with a 40-0 win over the Mason County Royals tonight. The game was played in a cold rain on a muddy Mason County Field. Junior halfback Shawn Grimm rushed for 154 yards and two touchdowns. Mason County only had one first down in the first half and it came on the final play of the half. The Royals had four turnovers. Johnson Central will host Boyd County in the first round of the playoffs. Mason County (7-3 and 3-2) will be the third seed and will play at Ashland.
