Lexington Legends caravan stop in Maysville is Monday

The Lexington Legends caravan stop in Maysville, postponed last month due to snow, is rescheduled for Monday. Here is the press release from the Legends:

The Lexington Legends pre-season caravan will come to Maysville Monday, March 7.

Caravan events, which are scheduled throughout the region, allow the Legends to show appreciation to fans and media and to promote the 2016 season.

In Maysville, Legends’ representatives will be at the Tom Browning Boys and Girls Club, 241 East Maple Leaf Road, from 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 7.  Fans are invited to stop by and register for a chance to win tickets and other items, pick up schedules and ticket information, or get a picture taken with the Legends’ Big L.

The Maysville stop was originally scheduled for February 15, but was postponed due to weather.

The Legends, a member of the South Atlantic League and a class A affiliate of the 2015 World Series champion Kansas City Royals, will open the 2016 season Thursday night, April 7 at Whitaker Bank Ballpark in Lexington against the Lakewood BlueClaws, an affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies.

The Legends will also serve as host for the 2016 South Atlantic League All-Star game Tuesday, June 21.
