Before I get back to blogging local sports, I want thank everyone for their prayers following the June 11 automobile accident involving my wife, Glenda, and two of my daughters, Danielle and Erica. There is no way I could have made it through this experience without your prayers. I still need your prayers. Everyone has returned home, but Glenda and Danielle still have a long road to full recovery. The accident has humbled me and made realize what is important in life.
A lot of my life has been focused on sports. I plan to continue to cover sports, but I need to remember my priorities are God, family and friends. God is good and I've experienced many blessings during these difficult times. Thanks again for your prayers, cards, money, food and friendship.
Danny,
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear Glenda, Danielle, and Erica are home. Glenda and Danielle may have a ways to go but thank God they are on the way. Our prayers are with you all.
I recall our conversation during the Mason County summer tourney, the Friday before the accident You mentioned your daughter was leaving the following Monday for Europe for the summer. Your other daughter has just graduated from high school and was going to UK. You were so proud. Then the horrible accident. We just never know what is going to happen next.
You are so right about what our priorities should be. Danny, thanks for reminding us.
Aloha to the Weddle family. Hope to see you in Hawaii.
