Royals lose to Grant County 72-66

The Mason County Royals closed out the regular season with a 72-66 loss to the Grant County Braves in Dry Ridge on Thursday night.

The Royals led 17-14 at the end of the first quarter, but were outscored 19-11 in the second quarter and 19-14 in the third quarter.

Grant County led by as many as 15 points in the fourth quarter.

Terrell Henry had 24 points and seven rebounds and Riley Mastin had 14 points and seven rebounds before fouling out early in the fourth quarter.

Mason County (25-5) will play the Bracken County Polar Bears in the semifinals of the 39th District Tournament at The Fieldhouse on Monday night.
