The Mason County Royals are in eighth place after the first round of the All-State Championships hosted by the Kentucky Golf Coaches Association.
The Royals shot a 13-over 301 today at Cherry Blossom Golf Course in Georgetown. Taylor County leads at 15-under 273.
Jake Feldhaus shot a 3-under 69 and is T5, four shots off the lead.
Trey Cracraft shot a 73, Grant Owens a 75 and Noah Gardner an 84.
The final round is Sunday at the Big Blue course at the University Club of Kentucky in Lexington.
