Lady Royals win Montgomery Co. track and field meet, Royals 3rd

The Mason County girls track and field team won the Montgomery County Summer Invitational Thursday evening. The Mason County boys took third place.

First place finishes by Mason County athletes include:

• Iyanna Johns in the girls 100 meter dash (14.10)
• Hannah Jackson in the girls 400 meter dash (1:07.16)
• Rheagan Sizemore in the girls 800 meter run (2:37.71) and the girls pole vault (8-06.00)
• Tea King in the girls 200 meter dash (29.52)
• Devante Stewart in the boys high jump (5-06.00)
• Jay Stanley in the boys discus throw (149-02) and the shot put (45-06.00)
• Girls 4x800 meter relay team of Rheagan Sizemore, Abigil Dawson, Hadley Faris and Hayden Faris ((11:21.51)
• Girls 4x200 meter relay team of Tea King, Leah Greene, Erin Kumler and Marissa Scilley (1:58.41)
