Lady Royals Rally for 5-3 Win Over Fillies

The Mason County Lady Royals fast-pitch softball team rallied from a 3-0 deficit to beat the Harrison County Fillies 5-3 today at the Maysville-Mason County Recreation Park. It was my first broadcast of the spring and it was a fun game to call.
Harrison County led 3-0 after three innings. The Lady Royals scored two runs in the fourth inning, two in the fifth and one in the sixth to avenge a 2-0 loss to the Fillies last month in Cynthiana. Tiara Harris and Brittany Black each had two hits. Black was the winning pitcher.
It was Mason County's third straight win. The Lady Royals (8-6) play at Pendleton County Thursday. Here is a link to the Lady Royals' web site.
We had planned to broadcast the Ripley at St. Patrick fast-pitch softball game Wednesday, but it was been cancelled.
