The Mason County Royals football team will play its final preseason scrimmage tonight at 7 p.m. when they host the Conner Cougars.
The Royals will open the regular season a week from tonight at Bracken County. Mason County's home opener is two weeks from tonight vs. the Montgomery County Indians.

The Mason County Lady Royals took third place in the Montgomery County Invitational on Saturday at Irish Hills Golf Course in Mt. Sterling with a team score of 371 .
Mason County was led by Sydney Ullery with an 82 and Bentley Shepherd with an 83.
