Fleming County High School has added bowling teams to its sports lineup. Bowling is not a sanctioned sport in Kentucky, but it's a good way to get more students involved in an extra-curricular activity. Fleming County's first match was played yesterday at Twin Pin Lanes in Flemingsburg. The boys team, coached by Roger Ruark, won three out of four games against Harrison County. Eric Mitchell rolled the high score with a 221, followed by Justin Carrington with a 198 and Scott Compton with a 196. The girls team lost all four games against Harrison County. Amber Black had the Lady Panthers' high score with a 151. Fleming County's next match is Sunday against
Bourbon County at Forrest Park Bowling Center in Winchester.
