The Mason County Lady Royals won the girls 9th Region golf tournament and Mason County seniors Kacey Carver and Erica Swisher were co-medalists with 84s Wednesday at the Mt. Sterling Country Club. Mason County had a team total of 370. Estill County was second at 373. Both teams advance to the state tournament Oct. 2-4 at Bowling Green Country Club. Here are the rest of the scores for Mason County:
Jennifer Soward 91, Christine Cropper 111 and Tiara Harris 113. (The four best scores are used for the team total.)
