The Mason County Lady Royals qualified for the Kentucky 2A Girls' Golf State Tournament by winning the Section 5 championship today.
The Lady Royals defeated the Harrison County Fillies 415-426 at Cynthiana Country Club.
The Kentucky 2A Girls' Golf State Tournament is scheduled for September 20 at Owensboro Country Club.
The other five teams that qualified for the tournament are Bardstown, Marion County, Pike County Central, Russell County and Boyle County.
